About the Cartoonist |

See You In The Funny Papers was the brainchild of author Sherry Harrawood who passed the idea on to her daughter Dani Darko. From the early age of four years old, Dani knew she wanted to be a cartoonist. Whenever anyone asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, she would always reply, "an animator!" Dani has an Associate's in Art degree from SouthWestern Illinois College and has a senior status waiting for her when she returns to school. She has written several of her own comic books as well as adapted a few movies to comic book form. As a recreational activity, Dani plays ice hockey for the St. Louis Ice Queens ladies' hockey club.
